One key is for the front door and one is for the back door - it's actually a padlock.
The back door is easy access and your best way in.  The rocky stairs leading to the front door are a bit tricky - they are actually a series of rocks so please go around and use the backdoor to bring stuff in - it's much safer

Yes, please bring your own towels and linens, sheets and pillowcases.
There are Three double beds and one single
There is one blanket or bedspread at least on each bed and pillows on each.

No need to bring dish soap and such we have lots of stuff there for cleaning up dishes.

We have lots of chairs and a big long table you can all sit around to eat, as well as a picnic table outside and few plastic chairs around the firepit. You can see the pond from the table while you eat. Sweet.

There are matches above the woodstove for lighting the BBQ
Fire regulations require that we call in campfires so please follow the easy directions in the notebook and call in all fires.

The TV works for DVDs and VHS tapes.

Chandos Lake is the best and closest beach for swimming.
Directions:  Go left out of the driveway to the Y intersection at the Clydesdale Road stop sign and turn right.
Turn left on hwy 620 and follow for eight minutes or so and the beach is on the right side and is obvious.
Note the cottage is also near other lakes like Silent Lake and Paudash Lake are not far and very nice too.

The tap water is from the well and is safe to drink. We have it tested regularly.

Septic system: Please use as little toilet paper as possible and never put any sanitary products in the toilet. Please use the wastebasket provided for this purpose. Use one ply paper only!

Never leave food (especially meat or bones) outside or garbage of any kind as animals will soon make a feast of it as well as a mess.  Please take your garbage with you if possible.
